Saudi artists to be a major attraction at UAE show

RIYADH: Saudi artists will be a major attraction at the ongoing Abu Dhabi Summer Season 2015, where Flash Entertainment is bringing together the best comic artists in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries to Abu Dhabi for a comedy night at the famous du Forum on Aug. 28.
Organized by the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority (TCA), the comedy night will have special acts by Saudi Internet sensation Bader Saleh, the first person in the Middle East to receive “The Golden Button” from the popular video-sharing website YouTube for his rib-tickling show EyshElly.
He will be joined by the EyshElly head writer and Jeddah Comedy Club member Redwan Al-Reemi, who enjoys a long history of comic acting and enthralling the audience.
According to organizers, Al-Reemi will bring his observational sense of humor along to take the multinational audience on a hysterical journey from his off-beat point-of-view.
Saleh and Al-Reemi will be joined on stage by the writing mastermind of EyshElly’s current 4th season and other YouTube and TV shows, Osama Salmeen, and Shakir Al-Sharif, an imitator extraordinaire, who tested his comedy skills in gigs across the Kingdom before bringing a natural humor spiced with genius character work to the sketch scene, bringing the group’s comedy to new heights on the popularity scale as well as in terms of quality content.
The comedy night will be hosted by the two oldest members of the EyshElly family — Moumen Afandi and Jotaro.
All participating artists from the Kingdom have expressed their excitement to be the part of this popular stand-up comedy show that will bring them all from the EyshElly family onto the international stage in one show for the first time.
Some of the funniest comic artists from other Gulf countries will also entertain spectators at the famous du Forum comedy show, which is billed as “a night of unstoppable laughs in the UAE.”
The Abu Dhabi Summer Season 2015 is a three-month-long annual family festival that provides a welcome escape from rising temperatures in the region.
