Promethean to enhance interactive learning in Saudi schools

Promethean Plc, a global education company, was awarded a second contract by Saudi Arabia to install interactive technology in an additional 4,500 schools.
This latest contract award means nearly 10,000 schools and 700 labs across the country will have Promethean's classroom solutions, including interactive whiteboards (ActivBoard), ActivInspire classroom software and access to digital resources in Arabic through Promethean Planet, a collaborative online educator community.

Equipping classrooms with our connected learning platform will improve teaching and learning productivity, enabling educators to better personalize lessons to meet students' interests and needs,” said Eugene Viskovic, president of international markets, Promethean.
Promethean will deliver hands-on training to representatives in the ministry and to education leaders in schools that will enable them to support classroom teachers with new skills and additional strategies to effectively to boost learning and teaching productivity with technology. Independent research has found that in classrooms where Promethean technology is used, students can be expected to gain 12 months’ achievement in a nine-month school year.
