He had been in hospital for the past 20 days. Al-Hammad, once one of the most sought-after actors of Saudi television, is best known for his appearances in several episodes of the Kingdom's highly-popular comedy series, Tash Ma Tash. His major television plays include Al-Wajh Al-Akher, Emarat Al-Ajaib and Al-Muzayyifun. He also performed in various radio programs. His recent illness, however, forced him to leave the entertainment business.
