RIYADH, 25 July 2006 — Emirate singer Aryam’s new album will feature lyrics in the Egyptian-Arabic dialect, the Al-Watan daily reported yesterday. The album has been delayed due to a traffic accident involving the pop star, who suffered minor injuries.

Aryam told the press that she was preparing the album with the cooperation of Saudi poets including Prince Khaled Saud and Eid Al-Marikhi.

She told her fans that she was trying her best to release the album as early as possible but stopped short of giving an exact release date as she is tied up with performances in Europe, Egypt and other Gulf countries.
