Imaan Hammam fronts autumn campaign for Sezane

DUBAI: Dutch Moroccan Egyptian model Imaan Hammam is the face of Sezane’s latest autumn campaign, marking what the French fashion label is calling a “new era” under founder Morgane Sezalory.

Unveiled on Aug. 23, the Fall 2026 collection arrives alongside a refreshed visual identity and new logo, reflecting Sezalory’s desire to evolve the brand after more than a decade. Hammam stars in the campaign, photographed by Mark Kean and styled by Alex Carl.

The collection retains Sezane’s focus on wardrobe staples while introducing a more structured and confident aesthetic. Voluminous shoulders, dramatic funnel-neck collars and tactile fabrics feature prominently across short jackets, coats and trench coats, with faux fur, wool and leather adding texture to the autumn offering.

Among the standout pieces are oversized coats, relaxed trousers and generous slouchy totes, alongside updated versions of the Parisian-inspired separates that have become synonymous with the label.

Meanwhile, earlier this summer, Hammam took to the runway at Jacquemus’ highly anticipated “Le Bonheur” fashion show, staged on the rocky Ile de la Pietra in Corsica.

The exclusive co-ed presentation saw Hammam walk a dramatic runway built into the slopes of the islet, leading to the iconic Pietra Lighthouse, with the Mediterranean providing a striking natural backdrop. Hammam wore one of the collection’s understated coastal-inspired looks, an all-white ensemble.

Hammam, who frequently celebrates her Moroccan and Egyptian heritage on social media and at international events, has often used her platform to champion Arab representation.

This passion is also something that also drives her passion project, Ayni. Launched last year, Ayni is an archival platform dedicated to preserving and celebrating Arab artistic expression through Hammam’s perspective.

Hammam is one of the most in-demand models in the industry. She was scouted in Amsterdam’s Centraal Station before making her catwalk debut in 2013 by walking in Jean Paul Gaultier’s couture show.

Hammam has appeared on the runway for leading fashion houses such as Burberry, Fendi, Prada, Bottega Veneta, Marc Jacobs, Moschino, Balenciaga and Carolina Herrera, to name a few, and has starred in international campaigns for DKNY, Celine, Chanel, Versace, Givenchy, Giorgio Armani, Tiffany & Co. and others.
