DUBAI: Kuwait’s army said it had detected hostile drones at dawn on Saturday and destroyed them, adding that falling debris caused property damage but no injuries were reported.
The army said what it described as Iranian aggression targeted a government facility in the north of the country, as well as civilian vehicles belonging to a company on Bubiyan Island.
The statement said the incident resulted only in material damage. Kuwait did not immediately report casualties.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait's condemnation and strongest denunciation of the continuation of Iranian aggression against the country.
It confirmed the attack targeted a number of vital facilities, including a government facility in the north of the country, as well as civilian vehicles belonging to one of the civil companies on Bubiyan Island, using hostile drones.
