Palestinians praise Saudi relief for Gaza

GAZA: Head of the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage Issam Abu Khalil recently met with a delegation of Palestinian families and tribal leaders at the center’s headquarters in the Gaza Strip.

The delegation praised the Kingdom’s humanitarian and relief efforts in Gaza through its aid agency, KSrelief, highlighting initiatives that have eased suffering, met basic needs, and supported recovery efforts.

Abu Khalil said the Kingdom’s assistance reflects the deep fraternal ties between Saudi Arabia and the Palestinian people while strengthening confidence in the humanitarian support provided by KSrelief.

KSrelief has implemented 155 projects in Palestine worth more than $542 million, making it one of the agency’s largest beneficiary countries.

Its programs cover food security, water, sanitation and hygiene, health, education, humanitarian and emergency relief coordination, logistics, nutrition, and emergency telecommunications.

Since its establishment in May 2015, KSrelief has implemented 4,404 projects worth about $8.54 billion in 113 countries in partnership with 355 local, regional, and international organizations.
