ABHA: Saudi Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tourism Development Fund Ahmed Al-Khateeb visited The Point project, one of the schemes supported by the TDF and the first and largest mixed-use development in Aseer region.
During the visit, he reviewed progress on the project, which has a total investment value of SR1.125 billion ($300 million). The project is being developed and operated by Advanced Rasm for Property Management Company on an area of 75,000 sq. meters, SPA reported on Friday.
Al-Khateeb said that Aseer region possessed exceptional natural, cultural and tourism assets that made it one of the Kingdom’s most promising destinations.
He noted that quality tourism projects contributed to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and strengthening Aseer’s position as a leading tourism destination.
