RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and his Somali counterpart affirmed the sovereignty of Somalia over its entire territory during a phone call on Monday.
Prince Faisal and Abdisalam Abdi Ali also rejected anything that compromises Somalia’s security and stability, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The two ministers also reviewed Saudi-Somali relations and emphasized the importance of exerting all efforts to ensure the security of international waterways and freedom of navigation within them.
Later, Prince Faisal received a phone call from his French counterpart Jean-Noel Barrot.
During the call, they discussed the overall situation in the region and joint efforts to support security and stability.
