ISLAMABAD: Pakistani fintech ABHI announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with Saudi automotive e-commerce company Syarah, aiming to provide employees with instant access to their earned wages.
Founded in Pakistan in 2021, ABHI offers earned wage access services by allowing salaried employees to withdraw a portion of their wages before payday through employer-linked digital platforms.
ABHI said in a press release that the partnership will enable Syarah employees to access a portion of their earned wages at any time during the month, giving them greater financial flexibility and helping them better manage their day-to-day expenses.
“At Abhi, we are redefining how income flows through people’s lives, not just as a paycheck, but as real-time liquidity that supports real decisions,” ABHI CEO Omair Ansari said.
“From everyday expenses to major commitments like mobility, employees shouldn’t have to wait for a payday to move forward.”
Syarah Vice President of HR Abdulilah AlSalami said the company was built on the belief that technology can make life easier for both its customers and employees.
“Earned wage access with Abhi is a natural extension of that philosophy: giving our employees the financial flexibility they deserve, on their own terms,” he added.
“In a competitive talent market, the companies that invest in holistic employee experience will be the ones that attract and retain the best people.”
Syarah, based out of Riyadh, enables customers to buy new and used cars online, with integrated financing, purchasing, and home delivery.
ABHI offers its services across Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Oman, enabling businesses and employees to enjoy early access to liquidity.
The fintech says it has over one million users and more than 7,000 business partners.
