Japan, Saudi Arabia discuss business opportunities in Riyadh

Officials from Japan and Saudi Arabia held talks on expanding business ties at the Federation of Saudi Chambers in Riyadh on Monday.

The Saudi-Japan Business Council meeting began with the officials presenting opportunities available in their respective countries.

Yasunari Morino, ambassador of Japan to Saudi Arabia, said he hoped there would be further cooperation to strengthen the resilience of supply chains for energy and critical materials.

He thanked the federation for hosting the event and lauded the Kingdom for its efforts to promote peace in the region.

Discussions were also held on healthcare, artificial intelligence, space development, entertainment, and esports.

The Japanese Embassy stated the meeting was a crucial step to develop ties between the two nations.
