ANKARA: The Saudi aid agency KSrelief has implemented a hearing project for cochlear implants and auditory rehabilitation in Samandag and Defne in the Hatay Province of Turkiye.
Several volunteers from various medical specialties are participating in the project.
The agency’s volunteer medical team has provided an integrated package of auditory rehabilitation services, including hearing assessments, earmold measurement services, hearing aid programming, and the distribution of hearing aids to more than 100 beneficiaries.
The initiative is part of voluntary medical projects provided by the Kingdom to assist people and countries in need around the world.
The aid agency has also distributed 300 food baskets in the town of Zantiguila in the Koulikoro Region of Mali, benefiting 1,800 individuals.
