Saudi crown prince chairs GCC summit in Jeddah

RIYADH: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman has chaired on Tuesday the Gulf Consultative Summit in Jeddah, which brings together leaders and heads of delegations of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states.

The summit addressed a number of issues related to regional and international developments and the coordination of efforts related to them. 

Earlier, the crown prince received leaders of the GCC on Tuesday in preparation for ‌the summit .

The crown prince welcomed Kuwait’s Crown Prince Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah upon his arrival at the King Abdulaziz International Airport.

Later, he also received Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.

UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan was welcomed by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan.
