RIYADH: The Saudi Tourism Authority and Expo 2030 Riyadh signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at enhancing cooperation in promoting Saudi tourism and attracting visitors to Expo 2030 Riyadh.
The MoU was signed by CEO and STA board member Fahd Hamidaddin and CEO of Expo 2030 Riyadh Co. Talal AlMarri, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Expo 2030 Riyadh Co. is the official entity responsible for the planning, development, and delivery of Expo 2030 Riyadh.
The agreement outlines a joint commitment to develop various tourism activities and products to attract visitors to Expo 2030, promote Saudi Arabia in targeted international markets, and coordinate marketing and media plans to highlight Saudi Arabia as a distinguished global destination.
The partnership also aims to enhance the visitor experience through planning distinctive events and exchanging data and information, ensuring that the expo contributes to the strategic growth of Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector.
Hamidaddin said, “The MoU with Expo 2030 Riyadh embodies our shared commitment to welcoming the world to discover the authenticity of Saudi Arabia, the diversity of its destinations, and the hospitality of its people. Through this collaboration, we align our visions and jointly advance efforts to ensure that Expo 2030 becomes a key milestone in the development of the tourism sector and a launchpad for achieving its objectives in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.”
