Saudi FM discusses regional situation with Pakistani, Bahraini counterparts

RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan discussed the situation in the region with his Bahraini and Pakistani counterparts in separate conversation, the Kingdom’s foreign ministry said early on Wednesday.

Prince Faisal received a call from Ishaq Dar, Pakistan’s deputy prime minister and foreign minister, the ministry said, adding they discussed regional developments and their impact on security and stability.

Saudi Arabia’s top diplomat also talked to Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani and discussed developments in the region and their repercussions.

Prince Faisal also received separate calls from counterparts in Qatar, the UAE, Jordan and Turkiye. During these calls, he discussed efforts to achieve regional security and stability with Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Ayman Safadi, and Hakan Fidan.
