KSrelief expands aid to vulnerable communities

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s aid agency KSrelief continues to provide vital assistance to some of the world’s most vulnerable communities.

The organization distributed 1,000 cartons of dates in Yemen’s Shabwah governorate, benefiting 6,000 people, and handed out 50 shelter kits and tents to those affected by floods and winds in Marib, benefiting 139 people.

Nine aid trucks from KSrelief also arrived in Aden, carrying 6,480 food baskets to support the Yemeni people and ease their suffering, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

In Turkiye, a week-long KSrelief medical project with six volunteers from various specialties performed 18 cochlear implant surgeries to treat hearing loss.

The Saudi aid agency also distributed 24,300 hot meals to Palestinians in central and southern Gaza.

Since 2015, KSrelief has implemented 4,219 projects in 113 countries, spending more than $8.3 billion on food security, health, education, water and sanitation, shelter, and early recovery.
