Israel army says to strike two bridges in east Lebanon

JERUSALEM: The Israeli military said on Friday it plans to strike two bridges in Lebanon’s eastern Bekaa region, warning residents in the area to evacuate.
“In order to prevent the transfer of reinforcements and military equipment... the IDF intends to target the Sohmor and Mashghara bridges,” the military’s Arabic-language spokesman Col. Avichay Adraee said on X.
“For your safety, you must continue moving to the area north of the Zahrani River and refrain from any movement southward that may endanger your lives.”
