RIYADH: Saudi Arabia defense ministry spokesperson Gen. Turki Al-Malki said the Kingdom’s security apparatus had intercepted 14 drones in the early hours on Friday.
Al-Malki did not specify where the drones were intercepted nor where they were coming from.
Israel and the US have been striking Iran since Feb. 28.
Iran has retaliated by attacking Israeli and US targets in the region, in addition to indiscriminately targeting neighboring countries not involved in the war.
