N’DJAMENA: The World Assembly of Muslim Youth, or WAMY, has launched a new medical center project in Chad’s capital N’Djamena.
The project is part of the Riyadh-based organization’s efforts to enhance health services and provide medical care for the region’s residents, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Thursday.
The project will serve about 5,000 residents from the area and surrounding districts who face challenges in accessing basic health facilities, with the center designed to provide comprehensive medical services.
The new facility includes medical examination rooms, a laboratory, a pharmacy, and waiting areas.
The organization places great importance on health programs as part of its efforts to reduce the spread of diseases and provide a safe and healthy environment for the most vulnerable groups, in line with its humanitarian mission to support communities and enhance their stability.
The organization aims to empower young people through quality programs managed by specialized youth workers and volunteers.
