RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) has urged holders of expired visas to seek assistance through its hotline (992), as authorities expand support measures for those affected by recent regional disruptions.
The move comes as the Kingdom continues implementing Ministry of Interior directives covering visit, Umrah, transit and final exit visas that expired on or after February 25, 2026.
Visa holders can request extensions through the Absher platform via their hosts, with the process available until April 18 after payment of required fees.
Alternatively, they may leave the Kingdom directly through international ports without extending their visas or incurring fines.
Officials have urged all affected individuals to depart before the April 18 deadline to avoid penalties.
