RIYADH: Live performances from the Saudi Theater and Performing Arts Commission at the “Beginnings of Saudi Art Movement” exhibition have become a major attraction.
The performances, which are scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Saturday during the exhibition’s run, feature traditional art forms, including Ardah, to help enrich the visitor experience by connecting performing arts to the Kingdom’s modern artistic history.
The exhibition showcases over 250 foundational works from the 1960s to the 1980s, while the live sections highlight the diversity of Saudi heritage within a contemporary cultural context.
The exhibition is being held at The National Museum in Riyadh until April 11.
