PARIS: Around 400 people were evacuated ​after a blaze broke out in a five-star hotel in Paris on Wednesday, ‌firefighters ‌said.
Two ​members ‌of ⁠staff ​were slightly injured ⁠as they tried to put out the fire which started ⁠at around ‌1020 ‌GMT in ​the basement ‌kitchen of ‌the Bristol, a hotel often used by visiting world ‌leaders close to the Elysee ⁠Palace.
Police ⁠closed Faubourg Saint-Honore street and the fire was brought under control, the capital’s fire service said.
