MAKKAH: The General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques has lauded the success of its operational plan for Ramadan, highlighting the Kingdom’s ability to manage one of the largest and most complex crowd operations in the world.

Millions of pilgrims visited the two holy mosques during Ramadan, experiencing a seamless and meticulously organized flow of worship and services that reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to serving pilgrims.

The authority emphasized that this success is the result of an integrated operational system built on proactive planning, coordination among service, security, operational, and health entities, and efficient field execution.

This approach enabled highly effective crowd management and the delivery of high-quality services, enhancing the spiritual experience for worshippers and visitors alike.

During the last 10 days of the holy month, more than 18,000 personnel and nearly 6,000 vehicles were deployed, after worshipers began observing itikaf at the two holy mosques.

During this time, they were provided with a range of services, including guidance, healthcare, translation, hospitality and essential supplies to ensure a comfortable and spiritually enriching experience.
