RIYADH: The Saudi Ministry of Culture is hosting the Traditional Arts Festival in Riyadh.
Taking place from March 26 to April 8, the festival will celebrate traditional performing arts from across the Kingdom. It aims to nurture creative talent in various fields while strengthening cultural identity and promoting the values of creativity and excellence.
The festival will offer visitors a rich cultural experience, and features a dedicated performance arena to showcase traditional arts from different regions of the Kingdom, reflecting its cultural diversity.
The festival will host Nabati poetry evenings, along with workshops designed to teach the fundamentals of traditional arts through hands-on participation in a simplified format.
In addition, the event will feature “The Story of the Sea,” a live performance that recreates the atmosphere of coastal life and showcases traditional sea chants historically used to motivate sailors.
