Saudi Arabia, Egypt sign joint visa exemptions for holders of diplomatic and special passports

RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty signed an agreement in Riyadh on mutual exemption from short-stay visas for holders of diplomatic, special, and service passports between the governments of the Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

The agreement comes within the framework of the distinguished bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and contributes to advancing joint cooperation, the Kingdom’s Foreign Ministry said on X on Thursday. 

The minister also held a coordination meeting with the foreign ministers of Pakistan, Turkiye, and Egypt on the sidelines of the consultative meeting of the foreign ministers of a group of Arab and Islamic countries.
