RIYADH: ROSHN Group, a leading enabler of Saudi Vision 2030 for the housing sector, and Tarmeem Charity Association have renewed their partnership to renovate 100 additional homes.
“With the latest renewal of the partnership, signed in the presence of Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, ROSHN Group has committed to the renovation of an additional 100 homes, bringing the total number of families supported through this partnership to 300 across the Kingdom with plans this year to renovate homes in all 13 regions,” the company said in a statement on Thursday.
The commitment to community development is part of its corporate social responsibility program and reflects ongoing efforts to elevate the quality of life for those most in need.
The partnership has now entered its third year, with the significance of the initiative even clearer given the ongoing conflict in the region. Organizations like Tarmeem, Jood Eskan and ROSHN Group remain focused on their shared vision to enhance quality of life, especially for those with limited means.
In the first week of the conflict, many of the company’s volunteers participated in the renovation of homes. Mohammed Ashour, associate director of CSR, said: “Our collaboration with Tarmeem and the involvement with Jood Eskan is addressing more than physical infrastructure. Together we are providing homes as the foundations for the lives of hundreds of families, enhancing comfort and safety, while providing the stability that allows families to thrive.”
ROSHN Group has also expanded its commitment to housing stability during Ramadan with a contribution of SR5 million to the Jood Eskan campaign. This second year of support will see the provision of housing for 33 eligible families across the Kingdom and directly contribute to the Kingdom’s goals of increased homeownership.
Its current partnership model will also see knowledge transferred to smaller, regional associations, creating a sustainable ecosystem of care and support.
