Saudi Defense Minister holds talks with UAE counterpart, condemn Iranian attacks

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman spoke with his Emirati counterpart Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al-Maktoum on Thursday.

During the call, the ministers condemned the Iranian aggression against the Kingdom, the UAE, and other nations, Prince Khalid wrote on X.

Iranian attacks were described as a “clear violation of international conventions, as well as the sovereignty, security, and safety of nations,” Dubai Media Office said.

“Both sides emphasised that such acts carry serious implications for regional and international security and stability,” the office added.

The two ministers also affirmed their full solidarity and commitment to supporting all measures taken in response, Prince Khalid said.

They added that their countries reserve the right to take all necessary measures to safeguard their capabilities and ensure the safety and security of all those living in both nations.
