Women’s agency in Makkah enhances guidance

MAKKAH: The Women’s Affairs Agency at the Grand Mosque in Makkah has intensified its efforts for Ramadan, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Sunday.

The agency offers a full range of religious guidance and educational services to female visitors, enhancing the spiritual atmosphere throughout the holy month.

Dedicated staff have been deployed across women’s prayer areas to provide religious guidance, assist with ablution, correct prayer practices, and ensure orderly row alignment.

They also educate visitors about Ramadan’s virtues and encourage worshippers to make the most of the month, the SPA added.

The agency collects visitor feedback, distributes religious booklets, and organizes awareness programs tailored for female worshippers.

The agency earlier reported that 469,750 female visitors in January benefited from services which included religious guidance, Qur’anic study, scholarly lessons, and responses to inquiries.

The integrated Ramadan operational plan comprises six main tracks and 24 initiatives. It aims to enrich female worshippers’ experiences, enhance Shariah and behavioral awareness, empower women, and elevate the quality of religious services while upholding the sanctity of the site and its rituals.
