Investing in giftedness means investing in possibility. It is a commitment to recognizing potential before it is fully formed, to supporting learners who think differently, and to shaping education systems that empower, guide, and cultivate lasting impact. At its core, it is about planting the seeds for the future of societies.
In just a few days, Saudi Arabia will mark a historic milestone in global education as it hosts the 19th Asia-Pacific Conference on Giftedness. Taking place in Jeddah from Feb. 7–11, the conference will convene over 1,000 global experts, policymakers, educators, researchers, and innovators from more than 40 countries, to rethink the educational landscape, and delve into how giftedness can be better nurtured and sustained for the future.
Organized by the University of Business and Technology under the patronage of the Minister of Education Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, and held under the theme “Fast Forward: Building a Better Future for Gifted Education 2050,” the conference invites participants to engage deeply with the realities facing gifted learners today: diversity, twice-exceptionality, personalized learning, and preparation for a rapidly changing world shaped by technology and artificial intelligence.
Over five days, APCG 2026 will feature:
- 100+ keynote sessions, panels, and symposia featuring leading experts and representatives from the world’s largest federations and councils dedicated to nurturing talent
- 350+ research presentations by world-class scholars and researchers
- Rich dialogue spanning education, creativity, talent development, giftedness, and innovation
What makes APCG 2026 especially distinctive is its strong focus on youth and action. Alongside the main conference, participants will engage with:
- The Generation AI Youth Summit, an immersive experience for gifted youth exploring AI, design thinking, and ethical innovation
- The Gifthone, an educational innovation hackathon turning ideas into solutions
- The launch of the Global Giftedness Index, offering a new lens on how talent/giftedness ecosystems are measured and sustained.
Set within the cultural richness of Jeddah, APCG 2026 offers a constructive space for shared reflection and purpose to drive the future of gifted education.
