BERLIN: Two former German defense officials are being investigated after a German-Ukrainian woman was arrested on charges of spying for Russia, a defense ministry spokesman said Wednesday.
He said the two men — a recently retired staff officer and a former senior civil servant — supplied the woman with information, but that it remained unclear whether they knew she was allegedly spying for Russia.
