Those in attendance included Kenyan Deputy Director of Military Intelligence Brig. Joel Kirimi, Mansour Al-Qarni, head of the coalition’s ideology department, and leading specialists.
The program supports member states in promoting community-based approaches to rehabilitate individuals influenced by extremist ideas and reintegrate them into society.
It aims to equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed for rehabilitation and reintegration.
Over five days, the program will address the nature and dimensions of terrorism, and scholarly perspectives on rehabilitation, according to the coalition’s website.
