ADEN: The Emergency Response Project for Cholera in Yemen for 2025–2026, supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, has provided medical services to 2,069 individuals from Dec. 3 to 9.
The project targeted areas most affected by the outbreak, aiming to reduce infection rates and curb the spread of cholera through preventive measures, including the deployment of specialized medical teams to screen and monitor travelers at air and land entry points.
These efforts come as an extension of the Kingdom’s humanitarian role, through KSrelief, in supporting Yemen’s health sector and limiting the spread of epidemics and infectious diseases.
Meanwhile, the center’s mobile medical clinic provided treatment services at the Waalan Camp for displaced persons in the Haradh region of Yemen during November.
Medications were dispensed to 247 individuals, while the nursing services department received 242 patients. The surgery and dressing clinic treated 45 people, and eight waste disposal activities were carried out.
