RIYADH: Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef held a bilateral meeting on Dec. 16 in Riyadh with Syrian Minister of Economy and Industry Nedal Al-Chaar, during which they discussed ways to strengthen economic relations and develop industrial investment partnerships between the Kingdom and the Syrian Arab Republic.
At the outset of the meeting, Alkhorayef expressed his pleasure at Syria’s participation as the guest of honor at the third edition of the Made in Saudi Expo, noting that this reflects the depth of fraternal relations and shared economic ties between the two countries.
The two sides reviewed areas of industrial cooperation and opportunities for Syria to benefit from the Kingdom’s experience in developing its industrial sector.
They also discussed export opportunities that could support trade growth, strengthen industrial and economic integration, and advance the two countries’ development goals and shared interests.
