JEDDAH: Jeddah is set to host Baja Jeddah Toyota on Wednesday, December 3, marking the third and final round of the 2025 Saudi Toyota Baja Championship. The event is organized by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF) in cooperation with the Ministry of Sport and sponsored by official partner Jameel Motorsport, along with the Saudi Race Organizers Club.
A total of 88 drivers and co-drivers have registered for Baja Jeddah Toyota, representing more than 17 nationalities across eight categories: Ultimate B, Ultimate, Stock, Challenger, Side-by-Side, Trucks, Quads and Motorcycles – a strong indication of the rapid growth of motorsport in the Kingdom and its rising appeal regionally and internationally.
The three-day event features three competitive stages. Action begins Thursday with a 165-kilometer opening stage, including a 10-kilometer timed special. Friday’s first full stage covers 395 kilometers, with 206 kilometers of timed sections, before Saturday’s second and final stage concludes the rally over 301 kilometers, including a 91-kilometer special.
The Jeddah finale caps an eventful season for the 2025 Saudi Toyota Baja Championship, which has seen a significant rise in competitors and growing fan interest, following the previous rounds in Hail and Qassim. Saudi rally star Yazeed Al-Rajhi dominated Baja Qassim Toyota, securing his fifth consecutive victory in the event and maintaining the overall championship lead with 78 points. Dania Akeel sits second with 60 points, followed by Czech driver Miroslav Zapletal in third with 38 points.
