RIYADH: Saudi Health Minister Fahd AlJalajel has held high-level meetings with German officials and industry leaders to advance health cooperation, digital innovation, and the localization of medical technologies.
During his official visit to Germany the Saudi minister met with his German counterpart, Nina Warken, to discuss cooperation in public health, biomedical research, and innovation, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Saturday.
He also met with the Federal Joint Committee and the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment to explore Germany’s advanced regulatory frameworks and risk-assessment practices.
AlJalajel visited Bayer’s headquarters to discuss opportunities in pharmaceutical innovation, the SPA reported.
He took part in a roundtable organized by the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, reviewing health investment opportunities and research partnerships.
During the session, the Saudi National Unified Procurement Company signed agreements with German companies to support the supply chain and localize technologies.
AlJalajel also met with Saudi students at the Saudi Embassy in Berlin, praising their role in the health transformation process and reaffirming the leadership’s commitment to investing in human capital.
