RIYADH: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman sent a cable of thanks to US President Donald Trump on Thursday after departing Washington, according to an official statement.
In the message, the crown prince expressed his appreciation for the “warm welcome and generous hospitality” extended to him and his accompanying delegation during their visit.
He said that the official talks held with Trump reaffirmed the strength of the “deep-rooted historical and strategic relations” between Saudi Arabia and the United States. He added that both countries continue to work to strengthen cooperation across various fields under the leadership of King Salman and the US president.
The crown prince concluded the cable by wishing Trump continued health and happiness, and extending his best wishes for progress and prosperity to the American people.
