Second duty-free store opens in Dhahran

RIYADH: The second duty-free store recently opened at the Aramco Residential Compound in Dhahran, offering tax-free products for accredited diplomats in Saudi Arabia.

This follows the opening of the first branch, which was inaugurated in Riyadh’s Diplomatic Quarter in June 2023.

The store aims to offer its services to diplomats and representatives of diplomatic missions in the region, by providing a comprehensive retail experience and duty-free products in accordance with the Vienna Convention On Diplomatic Relations of 1961.

The store also seeks to facilitate diplomats’ access to tax-exempt goods and ease the process of tax refund claims, whether made periodically or upon the completion of their official assignments or during their seasonal leave.
