RIYADH: Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman met with the head of the Ukrainian president’s office Andriy Yermak in Riyadh, the Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the two officials reviewed relations between their countries and discussed the latest developments in the Ukraine crisis. Several topics of mutual interest were also discussed.
JEDDAH: King Salman arrived in Jeddah on Tuesday, having travelled from Riyadh, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The king was received upon arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport by Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, deputy governor of the Makkah Region.
Accompanying King Salman were a number of senior princes and officials, including Prince Hussam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, governor of Al-Baha Region, as well as advisers and members of the royal court and royal guard, the SPA added.
Earlier in the day, King Salman departed Riyadh from King Khalid International Airport, where he was seen off by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, governor of the Riyadh Region, and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, deputy governor of the Riyadh Region.
