RIYADH: The 11th Saudi relief plane landed at Damascus International Airport in Syria on Wednesday as part of a humanitarian airlift launched by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre.

After the collapse of Bashar Assad’s regime early in December, KSrelief has sent dozens of trucks and planes loaded with food, shelter, and medical supplies to meet the urgent basic needs of Syrians.

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) early this week distributed 1,048 shopping vouchers across Syria, enabling beneficiaries to purchase winter clothing.

The latest aid activity covered the Idlib, Daraa, Latakia governorates as part of the 2026 Winter clothing distribution project for the country, to help Syrians cope with the harsh winter season.

In Yemen’s Hadhramaut Governorate, the Saudi aid agency distributed 900 cartons of dates, benefiting 5,400 individuals coming from the neediest families. The outreach is part of the 2026 dates aid distribution project in Yemen.
