PARIS: Saudi Assistant Minister of Defense Talal bin Abdullah Al-Otaibi headed the fifth meeting of the Saudi-French Defense Cooperation Committee along with Emmanuel Chiva, the French delegate general for armaments, on Friday in Paris.

During the meeting, they discussed defense cooperation between the two countries and ways to enhance and develop it, along with defense research and development in line with Saudi Vision 2030, the ministry reported early on Saturday.

Al-Otaibi also held a meeting with a number of heads of major French industrial companies and reviewed cooperation opportunities in military industries and other areas.
