ABHA, 2 April 2004 — Passengers on Saudia Arabian Airlines flight 1830 from Abha to Riyadh were outraged when the airline distributed expired juice to passengers after announcing the flight had been delayed, Al-Watan reported. Passengers complained to airport security about the expired juice and the airline quickly withdrew the juice and replaced it with fresh juice and a free dinner. A passenger said that it was bad enough that the flight was delayed but that serving the passengers expired juice was the last straw.
