DUBAI: Emirati Yemeni singer Balqees announced this week on Instagram that she has been appointed as the Middle East ambassador for French luxury brand Guerlain.
“I’m thrilled to start off this year with this exciting announcement,” she said in a statement. “More than an ambassadorship, my work with Guerlain is a very personal collaboration — the values of the maison are very close to my own, and its products have been on my vanity for as long as I remember.
“It’s with great pleasure that I embark on this new journey with Guerlain,” she added.
Balqees shared some of her campaign shots with her 15.7 million followers. She posed with fragrances like Cherry Oud, Tobacco Honey and the Aqua Allegoria collection.
