ISLAMABAD: The Pakistani prime minister’s envoy on human resource development met Qatar’s education minister this week to discuss initiatives related to women’s empowerment and collaboration in education, the ministry of overseas Pakistanis said.
Pakistan enjoys cordial relations with Qatar and cooperates with the Gulf country in various sectors such as defense, trade, economy and others. Qatar is among the Middle Eastern states Pakistan considers ideal to export its manpower to.
Jawad Sohrab Malik, the prime minister’s envoy on overseas Pakistanis and human resource development, is on a visit to Qatar to meet senior government officials and spotlight Pakistan’s skilled labor force.
“Delighted to engage with Qatar’s Minister of Education, Her Excellency Buthaina Bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, on strengthening Pakistan-Qatar educational collaboration,” Malik wrote on the social media platform X on Saturday.
“We’re focusing on women’s empowerment & aligning with Qatar’s Vision 2030. Anticipating fruitful outcomes in education & human resources.”
Malik separately met Qatar’s Minister of State for Interior Affairs, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal Al Thani in Doha on Saturday to review cooperation in security and emphasized expanding bilateral collaboration.
