RIYADH, 10 October 2003 — The Al Mashrik Smashers team of Gerry de Guzman and Paul Praga, captured the Championship crown in the BC Category with support from Nelson Etor, Gil Gasga, Roy Cerilan, Sammy Gacul, Timsan Gabriel, Mario Abrasaldo, Dennis Laguio, Danny Francisco, Doy Vicera and Agot Ariles during the championship games of the Association of Filipino Tennis Players (AFTP) at the Al Yamama Hotel Sports Complex, Riyadh.

The Smart Shots team composed of Rene Sumido, Arjay Suarez, Alfred Pastolero, Jimmy Perfas, Rey Beninsig,Darwin Suson, Anjo Suarez, Anthony Simplicio, Jonathan del Pilar, Archie Fabro, Neal Perez and Romy Suarez placed 1st runner-up while the 2nd runner-up post went to the Aero Balls team of Robert Romero, Dante Pozas, Joe Aday, Leo Gamboa, Jorge Veranga, Jimmy Isla, Jake Olaguer, Gener Marasigan, Bert Manese, Renato Gomez, Sonny Cuyugan and Dong Lorono. The Volleygators group took the 3rd runner-up and they are composed of Edwin Pelco, Ting Banday, Danny Delfin, Ricky Tamayosa, Edgar Santos, Benny Dela Cruz, Allen Dela Cruz, Adam Ampong, Ariel Quijano, Jigs Garcia, Ruel Manalo and Arnel Baylon. Other participating teams were Pace Setters, Awalnetters, Laguna Tennisters, Shotmakers, Eskan Patriots, Passing Shots, The Volleygators, SAIB Netbusters, Blockbusters, D’Patriot Builders, D’Friends, Tomahawk Bombers, DQ Hunks, RTC Royal Balls, Bankers, SACIR, RTC Hardcore, Kharabha, D’Genesis, Supreme Smashers, Les Banquiers, Metcor Volley and the Match Pointers.

Special awards were given to the best doubles pair, namely Gener Marasigan and Robert Romero, Dennis Laguio and Danny Francisco, Ruel Restor and Nilo Cabug.
