RIYADH: Saudi border guards in the Jazan region recently foiled attempts to smuggle 100 kilograms of qat.
The seized drugs have since been handed over to the relevant authorities, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Anyone with information or suspicions about drug-related activities or promotion can call 911 in the Makkah, Riyadh, and Eastern Province regions, and 999 in the rest of the Kingdom.
LONDON: Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, arrived in Cairo for an official visit on Sunday evening.
He is scheduled to meet with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Monday and his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelatty, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Prince Faisal will discuss ways to enhance Saudi-Egyptian relations across various sectors, and talks will also focus on regional developments, SPA added.
