KSrelief team meets WFP officials in Sudan

RIYADH: A team from the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid has met World Food Program officials in Port Sudan, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Sunday. 

The two sides focused on the Kingdom’s efforts to help the Sudanese people through KSrelief, and discussed ways to boost cooperation between their organizations to overcome the challenge in delivering humanitarian aid to regions in Sudan hit by unrest.

WFP officials praised strategic relations between the two sides and gave appreciation to KSrelief for its support in carrying out humanitarian programs.

Riyadh municipality launches digital platform for urban plans

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh municipality has launched a unified digital platform to streamline the approval of all urban plans, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Thursday.

The platform enables applicants in the real estate industry to submit and track requests through review and final authorization. It also provides guidelines for the design and development of plans.

The platform records the review and approval process across relevant committees and authorities, improving the user experience and enhancing the quality of planning, the SPA reported.
