RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority on Tuesday announced the release of Rwaea Almugi concert tickets for sale to the general public.
The Rwaea Almugi concert, which will be held at the Abu Bakr Salem Theater in Riyadh on Thursday, features a collection of some of the most iconic lyrics and melodies from Arab and Eastern music.
Turki Al-Sheikh, chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, said that more than 30 rehearsals were conducted under the leadership of Maestro Walid Fayed and supervised by musician Yahya Al-Mugi.
He said the concert would feature some of the most challenging musical melodies that demonstrate the depth of authentic Eastern music, with the participation of more than 130 musicians.
Al-Sheikh said the participating artists were carefully selected based on their vocal capabilities.
The concert is being held in collaboration with the Quality of Life Program and the Music Commission, featuring performances by popular Arab singers including Abadi Al-Johar, Majid Al-Mohandes, Angham, Saber Rebai, Wael Jassar, Sherine Abdel Wahab, Mai Farouk and Zeina Emad.

RIYADH: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman sent a congratulatory telegram to Rob Jetten for assuming office as prime minister of the Netherlands and forming a government.
Jetten, 38, became the youngest prime minister in the country’s history following his party’s success in the October elections.
The crown prince extended his sincere congratulations and best wishes for success to Jetten and the people of the Netherlands, wishing them further progress and advancement, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
