Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance hold meeting in Riyadh

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance held a meeting at the ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh on Wednesday.

It was attended by Minister Sheikh Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Asheikh, the ministry’s undersecretaries, directors of administrations, department chiefs and employees.

They exchanged Eid Al-Fitr greetings and prayed for the Kingdom’s development and progress under the nation’s leadership.

Last week, the ministry tweeted about the extent and successes of its Ramadan programs that benefited more than 35 million people across the world. Some of the programs provided iftar to people in 40 countries, distributed dates in 60 countries, sent 40 imams to 14 countries, and provided 1 million Qur’ans in 22 countries.

Saudi envoy to Spain discusses tourism cooperation with UNWTO chief

Saudi Ambassador to Spain Princess Haifa Al-Mogrin met with Shaikha Nasser Al-Nowais, secretary-general of the UN World Tourism Organization, at the organization’s headquarters in Madrid, on a courtesy visit following her assumption of office.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on the sustainable development of tourism and ways to strengthen cooperation in this area, the Saudi Embassy in Spain wrote in a post on X.

Meanwhile, Abdulmajeed Al-Samary, undersecretary of protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, received the credentials of Mohamed Amin Sheikh Osman, the newly appointed ambassador of Somalia to the Kingdom, the Foreign Ministry wrote in a post on X.
