Saudi foreign minister talks with Iraqi counterpart

RIYADH: Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the Saudi minister of foreign affairs, talked with his Iraqi counterpart, Fuad Mohammed Hussein, on Wednesday, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

During their telephone conversation, Prince Faisal expressed the Kingdom’s solidarity with Iraq and its people, and its continuing support for measures that ensure Iraq’s security and stability.

The ministers also reviewed Saudi-Iraqi relations and ways in which they might be strengthened, and discussed a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Saudi ambassador presents credentials to Nepalese president

RIYADH: Fahd Mohammad Ajmi Mnikhr presented his credentials as the ambassador of Saudi Arabia to President Ramchandra Paudel of Nepal on Tuesday.

The ceremony took place at Shital Niwas, the presidential palace, in Kathmandu.

Mnikhr conveyed greetings from the Saudi leadership to the Nepalese people, wishing them progress and prosperity, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

Paudel commended the relationship between Nepal and Saudi Arabia, wishing the Kingdom and its people continued progress and prosperity, the SPA added.
