RIYADH: The secretary-general of the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology (Etidal), Dr. Mansour Al-Shammari, on Wednesday met with the Dutch special envoy for religion and belief, Jos Douma, Netherlands ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Janet Alberda, and their accompanying delegation.

During the meeting in Riyadh, they discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation on fighting extremist ideology.

Members of the delegation were briefed on Etidal’s work strategies, and during a tour of the center’s command and control department were told about monitoring and analysis techniques, and other projects currently under development.
